APOSTOLIC YOUNG WOMAN’S SCHOLARSHIP FUND

There is nothing greater than being an Apostolic young woman.  The power you feel from knowing that Jesus Christ has called you out, set you apart, placed inside of you a passion for His cause.  As that Apostolic young woman you have committed your way to Jesus Christ, accepted His mark, accepted His cause. 

There is nothing more challenging than being an Apostolic young woman.  The world does not accept your Jesus, nor believe in your belief system.  They scoff at your commitment to follow His holiness, they seek to undermine your determination to be all God intended you to be in Him.  But you follow His path, do His Will, receive His power to overcome. 

You see, I am that Apostolic young woman full of faith in the midst of my world’s degradation and turmoil.  This generation of teens face greater challenges and temptations than ever before.

• 1 in 5 teenagers will suffer from teen depression before they reach adulthood. 
• 15 percent of teens with depression eventually develop bipolar disorder. 
• One in 4 contemplate suicide during their high school years.
• 87% of teens use strong profanity.  One in five teens say they have purposely injured themselves with cutting. 
• Two-thirds of teen pregnancies occur among teens 18-19 years old. 
• 23% of high school seniors binge drink. 
• Almost half (45.7%) of high school seniors report that they have used marijuana.
• 22% use “hard” drugs. 
• 29% of teens in grades 9 through 12 report that illegal drugs were made available to them on school property.  

I am that Apostolic young woman that hears the call of Christ to be the Salt to a world wasting away in a life of drugs, alcohol, cutting, promiscuity and profanity. 

I am that Apostolic young woman who is willing to be the Light that shines into my world.
